Rusty Old Pipe

Took a photo of a pipe in the kitchen. The pipe was originally blue and after playing with the hue, it is now orange which has a rusty effect on it.

Fun with Dishes

I wanted to do a Splash Photography for sometime now. The problem was I did not have enough subjects to shoot at. Well not actually, I do. But it was limited. I did not want to shoot a cup splash, it was just too mainstream. And while I was doing the dishes earlier, it came to me. Why not the dishes?

LeWorm

Found this guy wriggling on the wall. I mean the wall?! Took a better photo of him on the rocks though.

Smoke

This was not a walk in the park. The digital camera only has auto focus function thus I wasted hundreds of shots before coming up with this. I miss my E620.

There was a power outage last night on my place. And just after I took this shot, the lights went back on.

Before flight

Why flies? Why not.

The challenge itself is worth it. Taking photos of these insect before they fly takes a lot of patience. Using a digital camera is another thing. But after a long day of taking shots (or an hour rather), the results are satisfying.

If I get sick one of these days, you know who to avenge me from.

But hey, this fly business is really getting into me. If you have a pet fly that you want to have a portrait taken, call me ;)
